1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Secto, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The Service

Secto is a personal note-taking application. We provide a web-based editor for creating and organizing your notes (documents). The service is designed for individual, non-commercial personal use.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. One account per person.

4. Your Content

You own everything you write in Secto. We do not claim any ownership or license over your content. You can delete your content or your entire account at any time.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts
  • Abuse, harass, or harm other users
  • Upload malicious code or interfere with the service
  • Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service

6. Service Availability

We aim to keep Secto available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Secto is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months (if any).

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
